The Atlantic Film Festival Association is dedicated to championing the vision and voice of the global cinema experience with an emphasis on our Atlantic Canadian artists.

Your donations contribute to the success of our family of programs:

The Atlantic International Film Festival, an annual celebration that turns Halifax into an international mecca for the arts, abuzz with film lovers and filmmakers alike.

AIFF Partners, a one-of-a-kind co-production/co-financing market and a one-stop shop for projects looking for the right partner.

AIFF Kids, programs where children of all ages are introduced to the magic of storytelling on film.

AIFF Outdoor, an epic outdoor film experience with a larger-than-life inflatable screen showing classic movies under the open sky.

AIFF Makers, the promotion and celebration of all Atlantic Canadian filmmakers and initiatives designed to bring their passion to the big screen.

The Atlantic Film Festival Association is a registered charity. As such, any donations are tax deductible.

AIFF GIVES BACK

We are pleased to help other charitable organizations when and how we can, with a priority of supporting arts-related organizations and community partners.

Please note that the Festival may donate either a) packages of individual tickets or b) Festival passes. There are limited quantities of each available.

RESTRICTIONS:

  • Your request must be made minimum of one month prior to your fundraising event/initiative.

  • Your organization must be a registered charity or non-profit. (Regrettably, political fundraisers, sporting events and religious institutions are not eligible).

  • AIFF does not donate to school fundraisers through our Gives Back program. We support education with AIFF Kids, offering free admission to school groups for the AIFF Kids Festival Tour. More information can be found HERE.

  • We will donate only once a year to a charitable organization.

  • AIFF does not make cash contributions or purchase tables to events.

  • AIFF may request event tickets.

AIFF acknowledges that the lands on which we gather are the traditional territories of the Beothuk, Mi’kmaw, and Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) Peoples, and the homelands of the Innu and Inuit of Labrador.
