1. Ground Transport Coordinator

 

Start and end date:  18 June-04 October 2019 (Reports to Operations Manager, FIN Partners Event Manager & Program Director, works closely with all other departments)

 

Overview:

 

The Ground Transport & Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for all ground transportation requirements for all FIN events including the FIN Outdoor, festival delegates and guests. Primary responsibilities are: working with Travel & Housing Coordinator and various departments to schedule and coordinate airport transfers and local ground transport.

The candidate will be able to schedule and train volunteers and FIN, work with vehicle providers to schedule, book and manage vehicle rentals. Communications components will be providing delegate and guest hospitality with up to date information, prepare daily and other reports as required, and develop a process manual for the position. The coordinator will maintain transport budgets and other duties as necessary.

 

 

2. Festival Registration Coordinator

 

Start and end date: 28 May - 04 October 2019 (Reports to Box Office Manager, Finance Manager, works closely with Operations Manager and all other departments)

 

Overview:

 

The Registration Coordinator promotes and coordinates the FIN Atlantic International Film Festival and FIN Partners registration requirements.

The coordinator will:

- work with departments representing the delegates, sponsors, filmmakers, media, volunteers and guests to coordinate accreditation
- work directly with the Box Office to ensure advance ticket requests for registered guests are delivered and tracked in a timely manner
- manage all aspects of the registration process in advance, during, and following the festival

 

Required Skills:

 

Communications skills: Including verbal and written. Will be dealing with all departments of the organization with Registration needs as well as operation departments. Report writing, updating of training documents, and assistance with end of season surveys are included responsibilities. Dealing with suppliers for materials needed is also included. Direct interface with Registrants is also a large part of the responsibility.

Technical skills: Computer skills including Google Docs and Office 365 suite of programs. Affinity for software learning important as will be learning and working with our Festival Management software Vendini and the Festival Manager module which creates the accreditation of passes/badges.

Organization skills: Important as many deadlines for information will be set and must be maintained for success. Registration information from several sources will need to be managed as necessary. The candidate will work with the marketing department to develop & implement any required registration messaging, ensure website and social media updates as required.

Team Player: As a member of the FIN organization, the successful candidate will be a team player ready to help and be helped as needed for the success of the Registration Process and the Festival as a whole.
